3 simple steps how you change MM price tags with a scanner

Step 1 - Find scanner

Locate the scanner in the store. They are usually in the storage or in the back office.

Make sure that the scanner is charged with enough battery to last the whole shift.

If you need to log in on the scanner, find a store staff and ask then to log in for you in the scanner.

Step 2 - Connection

Before you start changing price tags you need to make sure the connection is ok.

To check the connection you tap on the three lined icon in the top left corner, then tap on “settings” in the menu.

When you are in the settings menu you can see if all three fields are filled with information, click on “Check connection” to see if the information is correct.

If the information is not correct you will get an error message. Find an available member of the staff and ask for help.

Step 3 - Go time!

This is the starting screen for when you start changing price tags.

Before you start, you will have to decide the order you want to scan.

You can either scan the product first and then the price tag.

Or you scan the price tag first and then the product.

To start scan, hold the button on the right side of the scanning device. A red light will shine. Put the barcode of the product or the price tag in the red light to scan it.

Step 1 - Wifi

Make sure that your phone is connected to the correct wifi in the store.

The wifi you need to be connected to is MM-Demo. If you are not connected to this wifi, then you can not change the prices on the digital price tags.

To get login info for your store click here, or ask store staff.

Step 2 - App

When you are connected to the correct wifi you need to go in to app store or google play store and download the app “Bison ESL Store Manager”.

You can write the word “Bison” in the search bar and it should be amongst top 5 results. Open the app after installing.

Step 3 - Layout

The app layout is really simple. The only thing we use this app for is to change the price on the price tags. In order to do that, we first have to use the correct settings for the store.

Open the menu by tapping on the three lined icon in the top left corner.

Step 4 - Settings

A menu will appear from the left side giving you 6 different options.

RetailBuddy only have use for 2 of these options. “Matching Modus” and “Settings”.

Next step is to tap the settings option.

Step 5 - Settings

Now you need to fill all three fields with the correct information.

To see the correct information about your store click here, or ask the store staff.

Make sure every number is filled correctly: Host, Port, Store.

After you filled all three fields you have to tap the "Check connection” button to make sure it works before we start to change prices.

Step 6 - Matching Modus

When you made sure all the settings are correct and you have checked the connection, then you are ready to start changing the price on the price tags.

To change the price tags, tap the three lined icon on the top left corner to open the menu again.

When the menu is open you tap the option at the top “Matching Modus”.

Step 7 - Go time!

To start scan, tap the "camera” button in the top right corner.

A tip is to lock your phones auto rotation of the screen. So you can turn the phone any way needed to scan the price tags easily.
